Microsoft DriveTime CDs!
Remember my entry on drive-time learning last month? I was wishing that Microsoft would start releasing some of its content as audio CDs that I could listen to in my vehicle. Well, guess what just showed up in this month's Microsoft Certified Partner package? Microsoft DriveTime audio CDs!
Ok, I admitted in my previous entry that I'm sure I didn't invent the term or concept of drive-time learning (I know I must've heard it somewhere else), but does anyone know if Microsoft has done this type of CD before? We've been a partner for about 2 years, but this is the first time I've seen audio CDs from MS.
Am I delusional to think that my idea might have trickled back to someone in the Microsoft content group?

Is it also available for download?

I couldn't find them on the Microsoft Certified Partner website. I believe they've had these CDs for a while, but generally only distribute them to Microsoft employees to communicate information internally. I gathered this from several comments made on the CD, like "Welcome to this special edition of DriveTime that we've created for our partners".

Hi...
Microsoft have been edited DriveTime CD's and tapes for more than 3 years as far as i know... As you say in your post they are only internal releases to employees.
Due to my work with MS in spain I've seen this kind of cds and tapes, and the are sent quarterly to their employees...
Hope this seems interesting to you... btw, my company is also mcp and we have never received a drivetime cd.
